From the warm greeting to the spacious dining, our visit to the Coconut Tree was a joy. There was enough variety on the menu to please the carnivores and vegans in our party. All dishes were delicious and we will visit again!

First time trying out Sri Lankan cuisine, and i loved it! Everything we’ve order was scrumptious! I was really delighted that we chose this restaurant to have a quick dinner. The servings were enough for two. Aside from that, the interior is very tropical and warm to be in. Will recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting in Reading.

Went here with some friends and the food was so good. I had the vegan kotthu. We also ordered the Dahl chickpeas and kale and radish sambol. It was absolutely delicious and all of these dishes were vegan as well. I also had the flaming cinnamon and citrus drink. Which they literally set on fire! The staff were so lovely and did a great job

This is my 3rd time here, and I can’t be more happy to have this lovely and delicious restaurant in Reading , a friend recommended it to me and now is my favourite Sri Lankan restaurant. This restaurant is like a Spanish tapas bar , so you chose your favourite dishes and have little bits of everything, I have so far tasted all dishes and I can’t get over it! Cocktails feels like they are soft and fresh but after few minutes they kick your a They are absolutely delicious too! Plus music is just so cool!! 100%

Lovely experience dining at The Coconut Tree in Reading. Everything from the food, the drinks and the staff was fantastic. Our servers Csenge and Samitha especially went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. They patiently explained the menu to us and suggested dishes to try. The food was warming and delicious especially the prawns and mushrooms which were the highlight for me. We enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning again.

I had an amazing experience at The Coconut Tree in Reading! The Sri Lankan food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors, and the Sri Lankan cocktails were fantastic. I tried the Pasan cocktail, and it was exceptional—highly recommended! Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a unique dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Lovely new addition to the Reading restaurant scene! My favourites were the squid, the fat sister and the black pork. The hopper was also delicious! I’ve given this a 5 star, even though it wasn’t quite that but it has great potential, so as feedback for the restaurant, this would’ve made it a 5 star: - more flavour in the goat and chicken curries - different dish to serve the rice as it kept going everywhere - the waiters weren’t very experienced, but that should sort itself out over time Overall I’d go back as the majority of the food was great!
